Becoming a MOOYAH franchisee is a multi-step process that can take anywhere from three to six months, or more.

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes strongly recommends that you live in the area you develop. Our model works best with franchise owners who are connected in their communities and live close to their restaurants and teams. We have owner-operators, multi-unit franchisees, and multi-brand franchisees in our system.

Yes, MOOYAH offers both single-unit and multi-unit development agreements. Multi-unit development agreements offer owners the opportunity to exclusively develop and build their business in a contiguous geographic area. We believe this is the best model to promote franchisee success for many franchisees.

Franchise owners are required to pay an initial franchise fee of $40,000 for a single unit Franchise Agreement. For a Multi-Unit Operating Agreement (MUOA), the first location is $40,000 and each subsequent location is $25,000 each. These fees are payable upon signing the Franchise Agreement or MUOA.

The current royalty fee is 6% of gross sales. The marketing contribution is currently 3% of gross sales.

This fee covers your MOOYAH training, plans for building out the restaurant, access to our systems, technology, operational support, and more.

The Federal Trade Commission and various state franchise sales regulations do not allow us to provide specific project projections. Your sales will depend on many factors, including the locations of your restaurant, traffic flow, local marketing and advertising, the cost of your investment and other important factors such as the ability to operate and manage your restaurant(s) effectively. To learn more about the financial aspects of franchising with MOOYAH, we will provide you our Franchise Disclosure Document with financial disclosures when you are further along in the evaluation process.

We do not offer direct or indirect financing. We do not guarantee your promissory notes, mortgages, leases or other obligations. However, we have relationships with several banks that work routinely with our franchisees.

The development of your MOOYAH restaurant(s) is contingent upon the number of restaurants, site selection and construction approval process, as well as the size of the market that you are developing. The schedule will be determined upon mutual agreement as part of the approval process.

While it’s not essential that franchise candidates possess an understanding of local real estate and construction processes, it is preferred. We’ll assist you in choosing sites that meet MOOYAH’s selection criteria, work with you to create a store design, and provide support during the construction process.

MOOYAH’s franchise team is made up of industry pros who each have a wealth of experience growing with franchisees across the restaurant industry. We work with our franchisees every step of the way, from signing to opening to ensure they get industry-leading support. From the beginning, we support our franchisees as valuable members of the MOOYAH family with comprehensive support when it comes to employee training, restaurant operations, equipment, technology and marketing.

The standard term for a MOOYAH franchise agreement is 10 years with the option to renew.
